He’s at it again! BIGBANG’s leader G-Dragon has finally released his first MV from his long awaited comeback as a solo artist! We haven’t seen any solo work since his 2009 hit album, Heartbreaker.
So now we have G-Dragon back and bragging about his talents. He sure is “one of a kind” with this comeback. Cute animals, tigers, noodle hair extensions, police line ups, a life-sized Barbie doll, tennis, and that’s just part of what’s in this video. We even get a little bit of Taeyang in the video too. This video is one big bragging fest from G-Dragon and the fans will still go crazy. It’s fun, playful, and we get to watch G-Dragon do what he does best… which is be G-Dragon.
If you haven’t already, check out the MV for G-Dragon’s ‘ONE OF A KIND’!

Are you in LA this Saturday and want to do something fun? Check out this awesome dance workshop being held at the LA Convention Center by KPOP UNITED and dancer Aimee Lee Lucas! For those of you who may not be familiar with Aimee, she’s worked closely with some of K-pop biggest groups such as BIGBANG and 2NE1!
Check out the flyer above for specifics.
Seeing Junsu’s past solo songs (TARANTALLEGRA and INTOXICATION), I’ve always seen him as some raunchy, hip thrusting, dance machine. When I read what the title is for his newest upcoming single, this didn’t come as a shock. For a guy with such a cute face, he seems to have this bad boy image he’s trying to get for himself. It’s somewhat hilarious and cute at the same time. Here’s what the YouTube description says about the song:
XIA is ready to rock the world AGAIN!! The first MV teaser is here!
XIA will release his Single Album(Eng.ver) which includes UNCOMMITTED and English version of TARANTALLEGRA!
This music video is showing delicate feelings of a man who swears he’d love only one girl. In this first MV teaser, you can see what “UNCOMMITTED”means through actor’s eyes. He(XIA) thinks about another girl even he is with his girl friend.. she just wants to believe his pure love. Who is “UNCOMMITTED”in this music video? Is she saying this word to him? Or Is he saying this word to himself?
I, for one, and excited to hear this new song plus an English version to TARANTALLEGRA. His English seems to be improving from what I’m hearing so far. Wishing all the best of luck to Junsu and his raunchy, bad boy image of a man who’s just looking for love.

It’s been an incredibly long weekend for May Pang’s AMIN! We arrived back from Otakon this past Sunday and we’re very happy to bring you the pictures from Friday night’s concert! Every year, we look forward to seeing what act Otakon brings. This year, we were surprised with K-pop group VIXX!
The concert was loud, fun, and colorful. We watched several videos from VIXX including parts of their music video for “Super Hero” as well as clips showcasing the boys talents. It also introduced all of the members, their roles in the group, and ages. I’m sure many of us are happy to know they’re all above the age of 17.
The crowd went wild as soon as the group stood on stage. All of the boys were very humble as they tried their best to communicate to the audience. It was also interesting to hear them sing in English when they sang “I’ll Make Love to You” by Boyz II Men. The audience really went crazy when they came on stage to perform “Super Hero.” They had a ton of fun especially when the boys came back on stage to see the audience.
It was a fun show and great to see a K-Pop group be the head musical act at Otakon. I can’t wait until next year!

BoA’s back with her newest single off of her upcoming 7th album with the same title “Only One!” This song’s been composed and written by BoA herself. She brings us a hip-hop beat mixed with pianos, strings, and guitar and gives us a sort of a soft yet catchy song.
SMEntertainment’s YouTube has just released the dance version of this music video. The dance team behind this video is NappyTabs who has worked with artists such as Christina Aguilera, Madonna, and has worked closely with the television show So You Think You Can Dance.
We’re excited to BoA’s newest album! Check out the video here if you haven’t yet!

Surprise, surprise! Otakon is bringing K-Pop to Baltimore this year! A huge change from what we’re used to, the Friday musical guest will be group VIXX! I did a small review on what I thought of them in my K-Pop Boy Band review and was shocked to see that VIXX will actually be in the US. They’re still a rookie group but we’re hoping their performance will be great!

…and what did we just watch? This video is what I would expect from PSY and I love it. Silly dancing, hip thrusts, horses, explosions, random chicks. This video has it all. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out NOW!
Just realized this current trend. I’ve been hearing a lot about some K-pop artists going solo for a bit. Not saying anyone’s breaking up but it is nice to see how some artists fair on their own. Here’s what I’ve found.
JoKwon - I’m Da One
I just watched this video… Wow. It’s what I would expect from JoKwon as a solo artist. It’s a completely different feel from when he’s in 2AM. I don’t think I should’ve expected any less. Really.
Jang Woo Young - Sexy Lady
This is just so JYP I don’t know where to begin… mainly the dance. It’s just a fun pop song. Honestly, I don’t see anything incredibly mind-blowing with this one but it does what it does.
Junsu/XIA - Tarantallegra
Hands down my favorite so far. This whole MV, Junsu’s outfits, the song. It’s just hilarious. The part that kills me is that it’s also named after a Harry Potter spell. It’s just all around amazing.
I’m sure there’s more to find but these are what struck out to me as of late. If you know any more, please let us know!

These fierce YG ladies are back with their new single I LOVE YOU! They’ve just started their promotions on various music shows and have just had their first performance on Inkigayo. How did they do?
2NE1 has been one of my favorite Korean girl groups. Their songs and performances are always powerful. In this case, they definitely showed that they’re fierce as ever.
I have only one problem though… the birds. Why were they there? That poor parrot on CL’s shoulder was just all sorts of fidgety while she’s trying to do her thing. I would’ve loved the intro more if I didn’t have to stare at the parrot hoping it wouldn’t fly or fall. It was just uncomfortable.
Overall, it was a great performance. Strong, fierce, and catchy.
If you haven’t seen their comeback on Inkigayo, check it out here!

The Wonder Girls are at it again, this time with a powerful new song called “Like Money” featuring Akon.
The video shows the girls in a futuristic setting where the narration explains that the girls are bionic where we also get to see the assembly of these perfect women. The girls dance in a Tron-esque setting where a part of me hoped to see some light cycles. Also, keep an eye out for JYP’s cameo!
It’s a catchy song in English so foreign fans can sing along!
