ZETSUBOUSHITA! Nozomu Itoshiki is in despair again but this time it’s for a third season! A new season of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (さよなら 絶望先生) has premiered with the title Zan: Sayonara, Zetusbou Sensei (懺・さよなら 絶望先生, Repent: Goodbye, Mr. Despair). The series originated as a manga created by Kōji Kumeta and has been made into an anime with three seasons and three OVAs titled Goku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. [hidepost]

Nozomu Itoshiki, a high school teacher, decides to try and commit suicide on the first day of his teaching job (and tries to kill himself on several occasions, failing each time). One of his students, Kafuka Fuura, tries to save him and almost kills him in the process. Each season centers around Itoshiki Sensei and his students. Every episode concentrates on an aspect of life whether it’s culture or even a phrases. Itoshiki takes the logical aspect of everyday life to the extreme. Each episode has it’s own quirk and leaves viewers guessing what will happen next! I’ve seen the first episode and I’m very excited to see more!
