It seems the members of Super Junior are slowly dwindling down. Band member, Kangin, has decided to enlist in his mandatory 2-year military service in South Korea.

Kangin has stated that he sees this opportunity as, “self-discipline time.” He has had past controversies, including a brawl between him and another person just outside of a bar and a DUI involving a hit and run. Since then, Kangin had taken a hiatus from any Super Junior activities.

Members Han Geng and Kibum have also been absent from the group due to their own activities. Han Geng has been involved with a lawsuit against SM Entertainment to terminate his contract and Kibum has been focusing on his acting career, leaving Super Junior with ten members for now.

Super Junior plans on releasing their fourth full-length album May 14th.
