There has been rumors that Twilight’s, Kristen Stewart, will star in a upcoming Bollywood film, Paani, starring Bollywood’s own, Hrithik Roshan.

Stewart was offered a role as Roshan’s co-star to play his wife in the film but her spokesperson has denied her association with the project, saying, “She is not set to star in this movie and she still needs to read the script at least.”

Only time will tell if the heartthrob Hrithik Roshan will star with the young Hollywood actress, Kristen Stewart and make another Bollywood meets Hollywood film.

Bollywood is becoming more popular than ever and spread around the world and now Armenia has become infatuated!

Armenian officials reportedly informed its Indian ambassador that Bollywood films are “very popular” in Armenia. Both nations are in talks to strengthen creative ties by promoting a cultural exchange between each other allowing more Bollywood films to be viewed in the Eastern European nation.

“Armenians love to see Bollywood films which are full of songs and dance. These films are very bright, well-designed and one comes out in a good mood after watching a Bollywood film. Not only Bollywood films but Indian culture as a whole is very popular in Armenia. We feel the need for more cultural exchange programs to boost the friendly relations between the countries,” says Ara Hakobyan, an Armenian government spokesman told reporters.

As part of the cultural exchange, Hakobyan also said top-shelf Armenian films would be shared with India.

Designers Shyamal & Bhumika brought their Bollywood fashion line to NYC last Thursday to showcase their cool collections. The designers who are used to dress Bollywood celebs are now spreading their collections from east to west.

Who is Bhumika and Shyamal Shodhan? The designers began working in fashion in 2000 Ahmedabad, India. Their label, Shyamal & Bhumika, was nominated for “Best Indian Wear” at the 2008 Marie Claire India Fashion Awards.

Now the fashion duo are ready to take over NYC runways!

Game director Shu Takumi (famous for the Ace Attorney series) doesn’t disappoint with this news. At Captivate 2010, Shu Takumi treated his fans to an English trailer to his upcoming game Ghost Trick along with some new screenshots and possible release dates for the US and Europe.

Although this was announced before, fans now can have a sigh of relief now that the English trailer is released. It was also revealed that the game will be released this winter in the US. This means that the game could be released anywhere between December 2010 and February 2011. Ghost Trick has also gone through a slight name change. The US release will be called Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective.

The game will be released June 24th in Japan.

Ayumi Hamasaki’s latest album “Rock ‘n’ Roll Circus” has given Ayumi another record.  The new album reached No.1 on the Oricon charts by selling out 20.5 million records during the first week making this her 10th album to achieve the No.1 spot.

Her annual live tour ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2010 〜Rock’n'Roll Circus〜 started on April 10th and will continue until July.  Ayumi said that this will be the greatest live tour in the history of her career.

Harold and Kumar star, Kal Penn, was robbed at gunpoint last night at 1:30 AM. A D.C. police officer described the situation as “a basic street robbery.” His wallet and a few other items were stolen.

Kal Penn is now taking a short break from his acting career by working for President Barack Obama as an associate director in the White House’s Office of Public Engagement. He keeps President Obama connected to the art world along with the Asian-American and Pacific communities.

Kal Penn will end his White House job by the end of the year and will film a new Harold and Kumar holiday film.

The offenders of You Offend Me You Offend My Family are holding a film panel Interpretations: So You Really Want To Make Films at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival this May 2nd. There were free tickets that were required to enter the panel, but as of today those are sold out. Those who still want to attend the panel may be able to attain rush tickets the day of. Interpretations will be headed by actor and fellow offender Roger Fan of movies Better Luck Tomorrow and Finishing the Game. Speakers on the panel include Dan Lin, producer of Terminator Salvation, Jeffrey Kirschenbaum, Universal Pictures-Executive Vice President of Production, Trevor Goth, Sundance Film Festival Programmer, and Rowena Arguelles of Creative Artist Agency Llc.

Rap artist Jay-Z,  Stevie Wonder, Nas, The Smashing Pumpkins, Nickelback, and Taylor Swift, are amongst the 50 acts that are scheduled to perform at Summer Sonic, Japan’s largest summer festival this August 7th and 8th at the Tokyo, Makuhari, and Osaka sites.  All those fans who want to attend can begin purchasing tickets on May 29th.

Steven Seagal has been seen recently on his A&E reality show Steven Seagal Lawman. I have been a fan of Seagal’s from his 90′s movies. He’s an aikido martial artists, he sings, and he’s an animal and environmentalist activist. Sometimes looks can be deceiving. Production of Seagal’s reality show has ceased due to a $1 million  lawsuit filed against him by Kayden Nguyen, a former employee of Seagal’s. Ms. Nguyen says that at his New Orleans home he repeatedly sexually harassed her. Other women have come forward accusing Seagal of similar incidents. Seagal is denying everything.

This is shocking news to me and I’m very disappointed in Seagal as a human being. No one should be subjected to such treatment. I hope that justice will be served.
