6-member boy band, KAT-TUN, is releasing a new single, “Love yourself ～君が嫌いな君が好き～” February 10th. This single will be the group’s 11th single released. There has only been a short version of the music video released so far. The single is also being used as the opening for the drama “The Wallflower (ヤマトナデシコ七変化).” The drama, that has already began airing in January, stars KAT-TUN member Kamenashi Kazuya as the selfish and demanding boy Kyouhei Takano.
“The Wallflower” centers around the young Sunako Nakahara. Sunako was deeply hurt by the only boy she ever loved and confessed to. Because of this, Sunako rids her life of anything that is beautiful, including herself. Sunako’s aunt becomes increasingly worried over Sunako’s current state. Sunako’s aunt, the owner of a large mansion, offers free rent to the four boys she rents rooms to if they can make Sunako the “perfect lady.” Making Sunako pretty was an easy task for the boys. The problem is with Sunako’s personality and overall attitude towards changing.
