But, it's not so bad. Jing Wong recently released the album "OK Man" and the first single, "Wo De Ma," that topped 5-Music's chart in the 1st week of its release. Wong also expressed his like for another song off the album called "Xian Yu" (Salted Fish). To celebrate the great start to the new year, Wong decided personally make salty fish friend rice.

Even though Wong wanted to show his appreciation with this special dish, he lacks cooking skills. He wanted to practice but, there is no kitchen in is house so the only place he could practice was at his manager's company. Wong poured too much oil and as he tried to fry the rice the fire jumped up which caused him to yell in fright. Luckily his manager was close enough to rush over to cover the pan and save the day.

When the staff heard of the event they decided to give up on Jing cooking alone. They even went as far as to ask cooking expert Liang You Xiang to give Wong some lessons.

Wong laughed saying, “When my mom heard that I was going to cook, she was super happy. She even wanted to fly to Taiwan to witness this event. But then I discouraged her from coming. I want to learn how to properly make something before inviting my folks here.” He also said, “Once I really know how to cook, then I won’t have to eat out anymore and then I can save even more money. Hope that my album can sell even better so I can cook more things to thank everyone!”

Well Jing, I don't know if this is going to work between us. I like a man who can sing while cooking and look good all at the same time. But you know what 2 out of 3 isn't so bad. We can make it happen as long as you don't burn down my house in the process.

Check out a live performance of "Wo De Ma." seems like its worth some Salty Fish.
