The B Here campaign is having a contest to help raise awareness about hepatitis B that is affecting many Asian Americans. One in ten Asian Americans are chronically infected with hepatitis B. Over half of the 1.3 to 1.5 million known hepatitis B carriers in the U.S. are Asian Americans.
To enter the contest submit an original video, song, story, essay, poem, or/and artwork that informs communities about how much hepatitis B affects Asian Americans and to inspire people to ”make a mark”. You must be a legal U.S. resident and at least 18 years old. There will be one winner picked from every category receiving a $2,500 cash prize and the winners will be chosen by online voters.
