Chinese pop singer Jane Zhang, also know as Zhang Liangying, has signed a worldwide deal with Universal Music Group. Zhang began shooting to stardom after singing on the Mongolian Cow Sour Yogurt Supergirl Concert in 2005 that aired all across China. UMG plans to market her to Greater China, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the United States. Zhang made her first appearance on American television on The Oprah Winfrey Show May 11 earlier this year.
