This year has been a fulfilling and interesting one for Asian American film festivals. What I like about Asian American film festivals is that they produce many cutting-edge films and after viewing them you have a chance to meet with directors, producers, and actors. The 6th Annual Austin Asian American Film Festival takes place on November 12-15th of this year at the Alamo, South Lamar in Texas. Here's some information about what will be going on at this festival: [hidepost]
Thursday will be opening night with a 7pm screening of Ed Radtke's award-winning drama, Speed of Life. After this screening there will be a party featuring DJ Chris Klassen and other hot, hip artists from around the world at the KTV Silhouette Lounge.
