Actor/singer Kim Hyun-joong was recently released from a hospital in Japan after contracting H1N1 while visiting for press and fan activities with his group, SS501. [hidepost] The poor guy was suffering from a high fever when he went to a hospital in Yokohama on September 8. After confirming it was H1N1, Kim was immediately put into an isolation ward for 15 days. Korean press reports that he is the first celebrity to contract the infection.
But not to worry, the “Boys Over Flowers” cutie is now safe at home in Seoul, after arriving at Gimpo Airport on September 16. He’s still wearing that annoying face mask and still looks a little sickly, but he’s set to jump right back into promotional activities with SS501… Let’s hope he gets a chance to rest first![/hidepost]
