The Canadian/Bollywood actress and former model, Lisa Ray, has been diagnosed with a rare type of cancer of the bone marrow, Multiple Myeloma. [hidepost]
Lisa Ray made her first movie debut in 'Kasoor' and has also appeared in quite a few well known Bollywood movies such as 'Water' and 'Bollywood/Hollywood'.
The actress who goes back and forth from Canada to India for work started experiencing early symptoms such as fatigue and exhaustion.
After many blood tests and other procedures, she became diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma which is a rare and incurable type of cancer that affects a large number of people each year.
Lisa is not giving up hope and is determined to fight this battle.
