The newest mini-album from Girls' Generation, released on June 29, sold 100,497 copies as of Tuesday, according to Korean press.

Their latest effort, "Genie" features a new look for the girls. Instead of the uniform black hair, plain tees and jeans look, the group opted for a more diversified style by lightening their hair and having individualized cuts, in hopes that they appear more grown up and mature, they said in a recent TV interview. It also features the girls bringing back the military uniform fashion trend.

This is also the third time that an album by the group has sold more than 100,000 copies. Both their first album, "Girls' Generation" and their first mini-album, "Gee," sold more than 100,000 copies. The girls have been hitting success ever since their debut in 2007.
