As stated in the previous article, there is a waging battle between hot Asian boy band, Dong Bang Shin Ki, and the record label they are signed under, SM Entertainment. This time, the group’s representative has spoken out regarding this matter. [hidepost]
1. The band will continue all of their activities in Japan. They are signed under a different label there as well (AVEX), which would make the problem even more difficult and there would be more loss than gain.
2. Their representative has stated that things are looking good for DBSK as they have a good chance at winning their case. Contracts with SM Entertainment shouldn’t be anymore than seven years. That already beats their current thirteen year contract. Luckily, SM Entertainment has been confronted by the Korean FTC several times about their contracts and the need to revise them since they violate the standard contract limits.
3. This issue simply isn’t about the Chinese cosmetics company, CreBeau. SM Entertainment blew the Chinese cosmetics company issue out of proportion as there is more of a reason why the members of DBSK are fighting SM Entertainment. DBSK members feel that SM Entertainment shouldn’t have any involvement with their own investments.
4. They wants to try and resolve this issue in six months time.
5. There have been NO TALKS about a future DBSK disbandment.
Seems that the future for this lawsuit is looking bright for everyone. Now all you Cassopieas can relax. I wouldn’t stress this issue so much. It appears that the band will stay together, their activities will continue, and we’ll just have to wait for the results. We can all look forward to more future events with these boys soon![/hidepost]
