On July 23rd the official trailer for the Wachowski Brothers' latest film Ninja Assassin was released. The film stars one of South Korea's top entertainers, Jeong Ji-hoon, also known as Rain. Many know Rain from his smooth singing and powerful dance moves which he debut with back in 2002. Founder of J.Tune Entertainment, Rain has put on several successful concerts as well as acted in many day time dramas and commercials.
His Hollywood debut was back in May 2008 with the movie Speed Racer. Co-staring as Taejo Togokahn, the Wachowski brothers were impressed with Rain's fighting sequences during Speed Racer and were inspired, thus the idea for this upcoming film Ninja Assassin was born. Ninja Assassin marks the first Hollywood film to star a South Korean actor.
