The single is also reported to be topping several online charts, including Dosirak and Soridada.
2NE1 consists of Dara, CL, Bom and Minzy. Known as an edgier group, the girls stand out for their provocative lyrics, outfits and moves. Instead of the detailed choreography and sweetness of Girls Generation or Kara, 2NE1 brings a more urban style to their image through their 80s-inspired outfits and crunking dance moves.
2NE1 certainly made a big jump onto the Kpop scene with their collaboration on the contagious dance song and commercial “Lollipop” with big brother band, Big Bang. The song came out before 2NE1 debuted their first single “Fire” in May and certainly gained a lot of attention for the girls’ pre-release. The mini-album immediately hit number one on online charts and had 50,000 pre-orders before its release.[/hidepost]
