6-member boy band, KAT-TUN, is releasing a new single, "Love yourself　～君が嫌いな君が好き～" February 10th. This single will be the group's 11th single released. There has only been a short version of the music video released so far. The single is also being used as the opening for the drama "The Wallflower (ヤマトナデシコ七変化)." Famous Chinese action star, Jackie Chan, has been offered a role in an upcoming Bollywood action film called "RA. One." If Chan accepts the role, we would act along side Indian actor Shahrukh Khan. Actress, Kareena Kapoor, has also been casted for this movie as well. Jackie Chan has already been sent the script along with a character synopsis. Seems like Van Ness Wu isn't the only Taiwanese pop singer to cross over to Japan this year. Pop star Rainie Yang is also planning to release a Japanese album soon. Less than a month ago, Yang released her Mandopop album called "Rainie & Love" but is obviously also setting her sights on Japan. Recently, I had to the opportunity to attend the release party of Korean-American music artist, Johnny Phlo. The turn out of the event was such a success! Everyone had to have had a good time and if they didn't, they're just plain out crazy! Earlier this week Taiwanese singer, Van Ness Wu, released his music video for his new Japanese single "Reason." I must say I am impressed with Van Ness Wu's sharp dancing skills. Word on the street says that Van Ness Wu will be filming another music video in Japan this spring.
